Unilever Case Study

Environmental Impact of Steel Storage Cabinets - Carbon Footprint and other factors
In the light of recent isolated references to the Carbon Footprint of steel storage we felt it was appropriate to issue a short release which addresses Carbon Footprint in the context of both location and the whole manufacturing process. Importantly Carbon Footprint should properly reflect the whole 'travel' cycle between the location of the extraction of iron ore, the location of sheet steel production and the ultimate manufacturing location. Carbon Footprint should also be viewed alongside manufacturing process, emissions in the workplace and product durability when measuring a company's or product's environmental credentials.

New People
We are delighted to welcome several new members to KI UK's team. and announce an employee who will be changing roles within the company.

Sales

Robert Foy
Sales Manager - South
Robert joined KI from Faram in October 2006. Robert joined KI with an impressive sales track record built up at Faram, Dovetail and Project Office Furniture.




Kelly Atkins
Account Manager
Kelly joined KI in March 2005 as Jonathan Hindle's PA and HR Manager. Kelly will move from her current position to a new role as Account Manager. Kelly will join David Venables' Sales Team mid to late November.

David Williams
Customer Service Co-ordinator
David has joined Liz Sheppard's team as a Customer Service Co-ordinator working with sales manager David Batchelor and his dealers. David joined KI in September 2006 from Olympus Cameras where he worked as a Customer Support and Technical Administrator.



Jasvir Singh Panesar
Customer Service Co-ordinator
Jasvir has joined Liz Sheppard's team as a Customer Service Co-ordinator working with Neil Clark and his dealers. Jasvir joined KI in September 2006 from Magnet Ltd where he worked as a Client Services Administrator.



Lee Andrews
Design Manager
Lee joined KI from Paragon/ Logic Office Group in February 2006. Lee is responsible for creating and developing KI's sales literature and supporting the sales team and dealers with 3D visualisation, space planning, presentation and tender documents.
